Combining an ultra-light yet supportive footplate, midsole rocker geometry and Surface CTRL grip, The North Face VECTIV technology is designed to maximise energy on the trail. And for the Exploris, that translates into hiking boots engineered to go the distance. But while this iteration is loaded with the same great details as the original, the Men'sVectiv Exploris II boots have a few update. The platform below the foot is broader to provide greater stability.
The stack height is 2 mm higher for improved comfort and support. And the rockered midsole offers a forked heel and forefoot and a TPU plate for increased lateral displacement and stability. Designed with input from The North Face athletes, the FUTURELIGHT membrane is still as waterproof and breathable as ever. The heels and toes are reinforced for protection on rocky trails and 4mm lugs hold firm on uneven terrain. Made on an updated D-width last that accommodates a broad set of consumer foot shapes.

Few brands inspire confidence like The North Face. Year after year they make some of the best ski wear on the market. Bold colours, flattering fits and this year there’s something even more exciting in the line-up, a new fabric they’ve developed to deliver superior comfort, FUTURELIGHT. An added bonus of FUTRELIGHT is its eco-friendly credentials. Recycled materials go into the product, the waterproof coating comes from PFC-free chemicals while the factory is solar powered. The North Face is named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain. But it was actually founded in 1966 at an altitude of 150 feet above sea level, on a beach in San Francisco’s North Beach area. Their mission is to provide the best gear, support the preservation of the outdoors and inspire exploration. Judging from this year’s collection, which matches style and rugged protection, they’re still very much on track.
