All about this product
General
You can push harder for longer without having to take off the Mens Tente Futurelight Jaket from The North Face. That’s because it’s made with Futurelight - a customisable breathable-waterproof fabric. It’s engineered using nano-spinning technology that adds air permeability to a waterproof membrane. On top of this, it’s also made from recycled nylon and impregnated with a non-PFC durable water repellent, so it has excellent sustainability credentials.
This three-layer shell is ideal for pacey mountain hikes and hut-to-hut treks in shifting weather, without the need for layering up or down. It’s fully seam-sealed and has an adjustable hood and the Velcro cuffs keep the sleeves in position. Its stretch-knit backer, unlike other shells, doesn’t feel cool on bare skin. And if you use your phone for pictures or its GPS, then the secure phone pocket will come in handy to ensure water can’t get in, even if you leave the pocket unzipped.

About this brand
Few brands inspire confidence like The North Face. Year after year they make some of the best ski wear on the market. Bold colours, flattering fits and this year there’s something even more exciting in the line-up, a new fabric they’ve developed to deliver superior comfort, FUTURELIGHT. An added bonus of FUTRELIGHT is its eco-friendly credentials. Recycled materials go into the product, the waterproof coating comes from PFC-free chemicals while the factory is solar powered. The North Face is named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain. But it was actually founded in 1966 at an altitude of 150 feet above sea level, on a beach in San Francisco’s North Beach area. Their mission is to provide the best gear, support the preservation of the outdoors and inspire exploration. Judging from this year’s collection, which matches style and rugged protection, they’re still very much on track.
