The Chakal Trousers are designed for superior performance and comfort, featuring a range of advanced technologies and practical details: Waterproof, breathable, seam-sealed DryVent 2L shell with a non-PFC DWR finish helps keep you dry. Heatseeker Eco Advanced synthetic insulation has a dual-fibre construction that provides a high warmth-to-weight ratio, packability, and durability. Increased insulation in the seat adds warmth while you're sitting on a chairlift or snow.
The Chakal features a zip fly with a reinforced hook-and-loop snap closure, a waistband with belt loops and adjustable hook-and-loop tabs, and covered, secure-zip welt hand pockets. Thigh pockets with polyurethane-coated, #5 YKK zippers offer additional storage. Articulated knees enhance mobility, and high-denier kickpatches and hem binding increase durability. A jacket-to-trouser integration point at the back of the waist ensures a secure fit. The Chimney Venting system with mesh-lined inner-thigh vents and mesh gaiter panels provides temperature regulation, while StretchVent gaiters with gripper elastic keep snow out.
