The Chakal Ski Jacket is now made using recycled materials. It boasts waterproof, windproof, and breathable DryVent 2L shell with a non-PFC DWR finish to keep you dry. Heatseeker Eco Advanced synthetic insulation, with its dual-fiber construction, provides a high warmth-to-weight ratio, packability, and durability.
The jacket has a useful range of features, including a removable and fully adjustable helmet-compatible hood and provides ample storage with two chest pockets, two secure-zip hand pockets, a covered secure-zip wrist pocket with a goggle wipe, an internal secure-zip chest pocket, and a large internal mesh drop-in pocket.
Adjustable cuffs with embossed hook-and-loop tabs and underarm vents provide temperature regulation whilst the integrated stretch-knit wrist gaiters with thumbholes ensure comfort. A snap-down powder skirt with gripper elastic and the jacket-to-trouser integration clip, along with an internal hem cinch-cord with a two-point adjustment add to the functionality of the jacket.

Few brands inspire confidence like The North Face. Year after year they make some of the best ski wear on the market. Bold colours, flattering fits and this year there’s something even more exciting in the line-up, a new fabric they’ve developed to deliver superior comfort, FUTURELIGHT. An added bonus of FUTRELIGHT is its eco-friendly credentials. Recycled materials go into the product, the waterproof coating comes from PFC-free chemicals while the factory is solar powered. The North Face is named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain. But it was actually founded in 1966 at an altitude of 150 feet above sea level, on a beach in San Francisco’s North Beach area. Their mission is to provide the best gear, support the preservation of the outdoors and inspire exploration. Judging from this year’s collection, which matches style and rugged protection, they’re still very much on track.
