Aptly named, the new Storm Glove uses Stratus synthetic sheet insulation with Porelle waterproof inserts to provide year-round wet and cold weather waterproof protection, particularly useful in the British climate.
The Storm Glove is built from tough ripstop nylon with a Porelle Dry polyurethane membrane. That helps provide additional waterproofing and improved moisture management without compromising lightness or flexibility. The glove also uses soft Porelle waterproof inserts between the outer and lining to add extra protection without trapping sweat or compromising dexterity. Warmth is provided by quick-drying Stratus polyester sheet insulation, which retains body heat, while transferring moisture rapidly away from the skin. The Storm Glove also features a DWR coating for extra waterproofing, plus a pre-curved fit and textured polyurethane palm sections for a strong natural grip.
This translates into a glove that will keep your hands comfortable regardless of the conditions and pace, and at 152g, they're never a burden to throw in the pack, just in case.

The Rab story began in 1981 in the attic of a small, terraced house in Sheffield where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Hand-stitched and devised with his own ingenious eye, Rab's experience from years spent in the mountains was apparent in his designs, and soon there was popular demand from Rab's friends and the growing local climbing community. Now, decades later, those honest, hard-wearing designs can be found all over the world; wherever adventurous individuals face up to the elements. From Himalayan peaks to cold, crisp evenings around a camp fire. This began as the brand's story, but it also belongs to those who've loved and cared for each and every one of our products. Who've made them their companions on long trips and expeditions.
