All about this product
General
Stay composed on cold winter belays, backcountry ski descents and Big Mountain adventures. With recycled Stratus insulation and Gore-Tex Infinium fabrics, the Khroma Kharve Jacket prepares you for intense mountain actitivies through wet and bitter conditions.
The Khroma Kharve Jacket uses 30D Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper fabric for flexible weatherproof comfort and advanced moisture management during self-propelled backcountry ski tours, but equally suited to fast hikes. To cope with damp, changeable mountain conditions, the jacket is also filled with synthetic Stratus polyester sheet insulation. Produced using recycled fibres from post-consumer PET bottles, it combines inherent softness with an outstanding warmth to weight ratio and excellent insulation when wet. Other ascent-inspired ski mountaineering features include a helmet-compatible hood with wired peak, a double-ended front zip, multiple internal pockets and a fully adjustable hem for a tailored fit.
Designed for warmth at the summit and comfort on the descent, the Khroma Kharve Jacket makes use of Rab's extensive mountain expertise to bring mountaineering know-how to your off-piste adventures.

About this brand
The Rab story began in 1981 in the attic of a small, terraced house in Sheffield where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Hand-stitched and devised with his own ingenious eye, Rab's experience from years spent in the mountains was apparent in his designs, and soon there was popular demand from Rab's friends and the growing local climbing community. Now, decades later, those honest, hard-wearing designs can be found all over the world; wherever adventurous individuals face up to the elements. From Himalayan peaks to cold, crisp evenings around a camp fire. This began as the brand's story, but it also belongs to those who've loved and cared for each and every one of our products. Who've made them their companions on long trips and expeditions.
