General

The Women's Sopris Avy 30 from Osprey is a fully-featured alpine touring, big mountain backpack. Featuring a back panel entry into the main compartment to allow for ease of access coupled with a quick access avalanche safety kit pocket, the pack ensures you are fully equipped for a full day in the mountains. The pack features a slighter shorter frame with additional contouring on the shoulder pads for improved comfort of the female physique.

The avalanche safety pocket is colour coded for rapid access to avalanche safety equipment. Utilising sleeves for probes and shovel handles, the pack ensures that vital life-saving equipment is easily identified and accessed. For on the go, a single hipbelt pocket and gear loop keeps kit close at hand. With both diagonal and side ski carry and vertical snowboard carry options in the pack caters to both snowsports disciplines. Internally the pack features a radio pouch, water bottle pocket and a side access scratch-free googles pocket to ensure items are easily accessed and compartmentalised.

Equipped with the latest Alpride E2 Electronic Airbag that provides a comfortable and stable fit, the pack gives you peace of mind that should a situation occur in avalanche terrain you have the capabilities to deal with it. The Alpride E2 Airbag is a fully electronic avalanche airbag, famed for its reliability. Using supercapacitor technology to replace the traditional Li-ion battery, the airbag system is not sensitive to low temperatures, resulting in the same dependable performance from -30°C to +40°C.

As an electronic avy system, the E2 can be recharged easily using a micro-USB port in 20 minutes. Should you have needed to deploy the system in the mountains the E2 can also be recharged in 40mminutes with a AA battery.
