The Re-Kanken Rucksack is a special edition of Fjällräven's Kanken Mini Rucksack made entirely from polyester recycled from eleven plastic bottles and dyed with SpinDye technology that radically reduces the amount of water, energy and chemicals used. An everyday companion with the same great design as the original, but now reinvented from an environmental perspective that saves natural resources. Ready to be carried, travelled with and loved – and in the far and distant future, recycled again.
The main compartment has a large zipped opening that makes it easy to pack and unpack. It comes with a seat pad that is stored in the inside back packet where it stops the contents of the backpack pressing against the back – and is always at hand when a pause is needed. There are also two flat side pockets and a zipped pocket on the front, perfect for small items you want to keep close at hand. The carrying system is simple but functional with handles at the top and flexible, adjustable shoulder straps.

Hailing from the small town of Örnsköldsvik in Sweden, a place where mountains and forest meet the sea, Fjällräven is an outdoor clothing and equipment company that’s committed to making nature more accessible. In true Swedish style, we focus on simplicity and practicality and they have the utmost respect for the environment. Fjallraven develops functional, durable and timeless outdoor gear while acting responsibly towards nature, people and animals. They already create a PFC free waterproof range in their ECO Shell jackets, removing it entirely in 2015- and are hoping to have entirely traceable down wool and leather in the years to come.
