The Swift Protect Pro Dry is the first dynamic single rope featuring a sheath that incorporates aramid, significantly enhancing cut resistance. Thanks to a special processing method, the rope remains dynamic even with the aramid reinforcement and increased sheath content, ensuring that the impact force stays within required standards. These characteristics make it an ideal lead climbing rope and a perfect companion for alpine climbing and mountaineering.
Additionally, the rope is treated with Thermo Shield for pleasant handling, while the Pro Dry finish provides durable water repellency and dirt resistance. It is certified for use as a single, half, and twin rope, and the 3D lap coiling allows for immediate use without tangling. The higher sheath content and aramid processing improve cut resistance under load, even over sharp edges. With a water absorption rate of less than 2%, it far exceeds the standards set by the UIAA Water Repellent Test.
