The adjustable drawstring under the chin is not only practical to keep the hat firmly in place, it also adds a touch of character to the design. Using the brass push buttons, you can transform the fisherman's hat into a different model in no time: they allow you to fasten the wide hat brim up the sides of the head. This, just like the vents, provides extra ventilation when needed and allows the hat to be folded compactly.
