At Snow+Rock, we live for the mountains – and we’re not the only ones. Nearly half (47%) of snowsports lovers claim epic mountain scenery is what they love most about skiing and snowboarding.* We know that to make the most of the jaw-dropping vistas, you need the best gear. Yet only one in five people prioritise buying the highest-quality gear for their adventure holiday – and we want to change that.*

It’s great to know a quarter of British holidaymakers* are heading to the slopes, but we want to make sure they get the most out of their trip by offering expert advice to help them make the right choice with their snowsports gear.”

Research revealed that the majority of British adults would rather go on an action-packed holiday than simply to relax – with skiing, snowboarding and mountain climbing among the top activities people like to get involved in.

The survey of 2,000 people found a quarter of people would book a holiday centred around skiing or snowboarding, with 23 per cent having been on a snowsports holiday in the past.

There’s so much to enjoy from a wintersport holiday but, according to the survey after the spectacular mountain scenery, time spent outdoors (41 per cent) was the thing people love the most as well as the balance between being active and relaxing (39 per cent).

“Our members are craving experiences in exciting and exotic locations. Japan and Canada top the list of our members' dream destinations, but plenty will be heading to the incredible destinations on our doorsteps in the Alps and Pyrenees. Winter adventures are back!”
